Livistona chinensis carry huge dark green palmate fronds, dense canopies, stout trunks and absolutely beautiful blue to blue green seed bunches that are truly magnificent to behold. Our Chinese fans are the ultimate accent palm where the design intent calls for dense tropical foliage but winter freezes are a norm that the palms must be able to survive. Our entire crop is grown in heavy clay-like soils so moving these beauties onto a clay site is as easy as digging a hole and planting; there is no special soil preparation or special soil mixes necessary, no need to plant the palm above grade and no worries about water building up in the root zone causing root rot. Our Chinese fans are just plain easy to use and they are consistently gorgeous.
You can order single or double trunks and can specify straight trunks or with a tropical curve to add some flair out in the pool area. The naturally reddish colored trunk wrap is intriguing and the palms can be easily matched to achieve consistent, durable beauty.
